Ganfeng Begins Production of Semi-Solid-State Batteries for Robotics and Electric Aviation

ADVANCED AIR MOBILITY (AAM) / NEXT-GEN AVIATIONROBOTICS

Ganfeng has commenced series production of semi-solid-state batteries, featuring a lithium alloy anode and sulfur cathode, with an energy density of 650 Wh/kg. Announced at the 3rd Chinese Innovation and Development Forum for Solid-State Batteries in Beijing, these batteries support 3C fast charging and high heat resistance. Initial applications are focused on robotics and electric aviation, with prototypes for pure solid-state batteries also in development.
