GCL SI Develops Carbon Data Platform Post-COP30 for Global PV Carbon Credit Standardization

CARBON CAPTURE

GCL System Integration (GCL SI) is enhancing its GCL Carbon Data Platform to standardize global carbon credits following the COP30 conference in Belém, Brazil. The platform's development consists of three phases: Phase 1.0 established product carbon-footprint models across the PV value chain; Phase 2.0 expanded decarbonization pathways and introduced carbon accounting programs; and Phase 3.0, developed with AntChain, supports cross-enterprise carbon data circulation.

Key features include extending Life Cycle Assessment boundaries, enhancing supplier collaboration, integrating green-certificate services via blockchain, and improving ESG digitalization. The initiative aims to create a PV Carbon Factor Database to serve as a global carbon data infrastructure.

GCL SI is also leading the Global Green Carbon Chain Alliance Initiative with over 20 organizations to advance carbon-footprint standards for PV products. The company focuses on delivering integrated carbon-neutral solutions to facilitate the transition to a green future.
