Gebisa Ejeta Inducted into National Inventors Hall of Fame 2026

Gebisa Ejeta, a renowned plant geneticist and Purdue Distinguished Professor Emeritus, will be inducted into the National Inventors Hall of Fame on May 7, 2026, in Washington, D.C. His research on grain sorghum has significantly contributed to global food security.
The induction is in partnership with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. The 2026 class also includes posthumous inductee Frank S. Greene Jr., known for developing high-speed semiconductor memory systems.
