Georgia Communities, Including Albany, Receive $39.3 Million in Infrastructure Loans for Water Projects
WATER INFRASTRUCTURE & DESALINATION
Twelve Georgia communities, including Albany, received $39,328,700 in loans from the Georgia Environmental Finance Authority for various water and wastewater projects. Albany's $3,500,000 loan will replace potential lead service lines at no interest. Other loans include $12 million for Covington's Clean Water State Revolving Fund project and $3.16 million for Norman Park's wastewater treatment plant improvements.
