Germany and Finland Sign Hydrogen Cooperation Agreement for Baltic Mega-Network
HYDROGENNATURAL GASSYNTHETIC FUELSAMMONIA
Germany and Finland signed a cooperation agreement in Paris to establish a cross-border hydrogen network in the Baltic region. The agreement, between Germany's BMWE and Finland's MEAE, aims to support Projects of Common Interest (PCI) and promote a comprehensive hydrogen value chain.
The Nordic-Baltic Hydrogen Corridor will connect Finland to Germany through pipelines by the early 2030s. The partnership leverages Finland's renewable energy potential and Germany's industrial capacity, with significant EU funding backing the infrastructure development.
