GICON® has received the second prize in the MINGENTEC competition 'Lausitz Goes International 2025' for its biogas and biomethane production technology from organic waste, focusing on market expansion in France. The award, which includes a €10,000 cash prize, was presented by the economic development agencies of Brandenburg and Saxony. GICON® is active in the European market, particularly in biogas and biomethane sectors, and has launched a pilot plant in the Paris area to convert organic waste using its innovative GICON®-Rieselbett technology.
