Gravitricity Enters Liquidation with Under £8K Assets; Intellectual Property for Sale

Scottish energy storage company Gravitricity entered voluntary liquidation in October 2025, reporting £7,913.82 in assets. Liquidators were appointed, and the company's intellectual property, including its brand and patents, is being sold through Hilco, with offers due by February 25, 2026.
Founded in 2011, Gravitricity focused on gravity energy storage systems and had been exploring hydrogen and heat storage technologies. The company was also engaged in fundraising efforts prior to liquidation.
