Greenchoice and Invest-NL have both taken stakes in Zhero Systems, a producer of circular energy storage systems. This investment will enable Zhero Systems to expand production of circular batteries made from reused lithium-ion cells for both businesses and households.

The demand for energy storage is rising due to increased solar and wind energy, grid congestion, and changes in subsidy regulations. Zhero Systems' products are designed for longevity and responsible resource management, produced in the Netherlands using repurposed battery cells.
