The funding will aid in hiring staff and expanding market reach, following the company's success with its patented technology. Gross-Wen’s system removes nitrogen and phosphorus from wastewater using algae and has installations in multiple Iowa cities and a significant facility in Pasco, Washington, which reuses 1.5 billion gallons of wastewater annually.
