The Guangdong Zhongke Jiancheng Cryogenic Storage and Transportation Equipment Manufacturing Project has entered its trial production phase following its launch ceremony on December 26, 2025, in Kaiping City. With an investment of 1.536 billion yuan, the project includes modern facilities for producing high-end cryogenic equipment, such as liquid hydrogen tank trucks, and aims to position Kaiping as a key hub for green transportation and logistics in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
