Gujarat's Jamnagar District Signs MoUs Worth Rs 5,716 Crore at Vibrant Gujarat Conference
During the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference in Jamnagar, State Minister Arjun Modhwadia announced MoUs worth Rs 5,716 crore with nine companies, projected to create approximately 2,100 jobs. The event also featured the distribution of loading vehicle keys under the Vajpayee Bankable Yojana.
Minister Modhwadia emphasized the importance of Gujarat's development vision, positioning Jamnagar as an industrial hub known for brass parts and bandhani. Initiatives in the Wind-Solar Hybrid sector include projects by Opwind Energy (Rs 3,368 crore), Jamnagar Renewables (Rs 1,703 crore), and Suzlon (Rs 600 crore), which will generate over 1,725 jobs.
Additionally, companies in the Engineering and Auto sectors are expected to provide around 400 jobs through various projects starting in 2026. The conference also showcased local industries through an exhibition of approximately 25 stalls.
