Gwen Parry-Jones, CEO of Great British Energy Nuclear (GBE N), will step down on September 30th, marking the end of her pivotal role in the organization. A founding member, she has led GBE N from its startup phase to a permanent entity, overseeing significant achievements in securing sites, completing technology selection, and obtaining government funding for the UK’s small modular reactor fleet.

She will return to the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority on October 1st. Neil Cooper, GBE N's Chief Financial Officer, will serve as the interim accounting officer until a new CEO is appointed.
