Additionally, H2APEX supports a draft law by the German Federal Government that aims to extend greenhouse gas emission reduction requirements for fuels until 2040, potentially increasing green hydrogen use in mobility applications. In 2025, H2APEX has produced over 70,000 kg of green hydrogen, contributing to 1,500,000 emission-free kilometers driven by hydrogen buses in the Rostock district, covering about 25% of Germany's hydrogen-powered mobility market.
