HYDROGEN
H2Au, a UK-based natural hydrogen company, is seeking exclusive exploration rights for 3.4 million acres in South Africa's Bushveld region, with applications currently under review by the Petroleum Agency SA. If approved, the three-year licenses will allow the firm to explore natural hydrogen, which has shown promising potential as a low-cost, low-carbon energy source. H2Au is also pursuing partnerships in the power, heat, and fertiliser sectors to support funding and development efforts.
