Haffner Energy and Ignis P2X have launched the AeroVerde project in Spain to produce bioSAF and e-SAF from residual biomass. The initiative focuses on site selection for optimal biomass access and aims to convert this biomass into hydrogen-rich syngas, which will be processed into sustainable aviation fuels, supporting the EU's ReFuelEU Aviation mandate for a 6% SAF blend by 2030.
