The Haitian Ministry of Public Works has signed a contract with ESD Engineering Services S.R.L. to develop a photovoltaic solar power plant in Jacmel, funded by a $7 million World Bank grant. The facility will feature a 4 MW capacity and a 6 MWh battery energy storage system, along with necessary grid expansions, aiming to stabilize electricity supply and promote renewable energy in Haiti.
