Haryana Government Allocates Rs. 380 Crore for Bajra Farmers Under Bhavantar Bharpai Yojana

The Haryana government has released Rs. 380 crore for Bajra-producing farmers under the Bhavantar Bharpai Yojana. The Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini emphasized that farmers' welfare is a top priority, stating that Rs. 1.64 lakh crore has been deposited into the accounts of 12 lakh farmers for crop procurement.

The government has implemented a compensation scheme for crop losses due to natural disasters, totaling Rs. 15,728 crore over 11 years. Farmers can access crop procurement and financial assistance through the 'Meri Fasal Mera Byora' portal.

Additionally, Rs. 116.51 crore has been allocated for 53,821 farmers affected during the Kharif season 2025. The government has abolished the Abiana system and waived arrears of Rs. 133.55 crore. Subsidies for biogas plants and solar pumps have been introduced, and the stamp duty on banking transactions for farmers has been reduced. The government is also promoting micro-irrigation with an 85% subsidy to enhance water conservation.
