Hithium Launches World's First Eight-Hour-Native Energy Storage Solution, ∞Power8 6.9MW/55.2MWh
Hithium has launched the ∞Power8 6.9MW/55.2MWh, the world's first eight-hour-native battery energy storage solution, designed for long-duration energy storage (LDES). This system enhances grid stability and renewable energy utilization, featuring a dedicated eight-hour battery cell and a new architecture that optimizes cost, efficiency, and safety.
The system improves deployment efficiency by 18% and reduces land use by 23%. Key specifications include a power output of 6.9MW and energy capacity of 55.2MWh, with significant advancements in component integration and operational efficiency.
The dedicated eight-hour cell, the ∞Cell 1300Ah 8h, offers over four times the capacity of mainstream products and is designed for over 25 years of operation. Mass production of the ∞Power8 system is expected to begin in Q4 2026, reinforcing Hithium's position in the lithium-based LDES market for all-weather green power.
