Holcim has acquired a minority equity stake in BW Ideol to enhance the development of floating offshore wind infrastructure. The collaboration will leverage Holcim's materials for fabrication lines in Southern France and Northeast Scotland, supporting projects with capacities of 960 MW and 270 MW, while aligning with Holcim's sustainability strategy to reduce costs in floating wind energy.
