The Environment and Ecology Bureau of Hong Kong has announced that an inter-departmental working group has granted preliminary agreement for a new trial project involving hydrogen fuel technology. This initiative, proposed by Bibicar International Trade Co.

Ltd., includes the display of 30 hydrogen fuel cell vehicles in Yuen Long and their operation for test drives and refueling at a local hydrogen station. To date, the working group has approved 28 applications for hydrogen energy trials, with an ongoing commitment to refine safety and technical guidelines based on operational data.
