Hydrostor is seeking amendments to its Willow Rock project agreement, requesting a price change and a delay, with the project now expected to be shovel-ready by 2026. Hawaiian Electric is set to begin construction on the 40MW Waena Battery Energy Storage System in January 2024, supporting renewable energy initiatives, while Peregrine Energy Solutions and Wärtsilä are advancing the Mallard Energy Storage project in Texas, which will enhance the state's electric reliability.
