HYTING has commissioned the world's first catalytic hydrogen air-heating system at Flusys GmbH's facility in Offenbach, Germany. The 10kW unit operates in combination with a heat pump to heat a 1,000 cubic-meter space, utilizing hydrogen from a nearby supplier.

The system achieves peak heating capacity while reducing operating costs by addressing capacity and demand charges. Following a successful 2,500-hour durability test, the technology is certified under the Gas Appliance Regulation, paving the way for future installations.
