Hyundai's XCIENT Fuel Cell truck has reached a cumulative driving distance of 20 million kilometers in Europe. The truck began operations in Switzerland in October 2020, surpassing 10 million kilometers in June 2024 and 20 million kilometers in January 2025.

It is currently operated in five European countries with 165 units in total. The truck reduces carbon emissions significantly compared to diesel trucks, equivalent to the carbon absorption of approximately 1.5 million pine trees. Hyundai plans to use the collected data to enhance future hydrogen fuel cell technology.
