IFC Plans to Double Annual Investments in India to $10 Billion by 2030

The International Finance Corporation (IFC) will double its investments in India to $10 billion annually by 2030, up from $5.4 billion in the last financial year. IFC's portfolio in India is currently $11.3 billion, representing 11% of its global total.

The focus areas will include renewable energy, e-mobility, and other sustainable finance sectors. IFC supports India's goal of achieving 500 GW of non-fossil capacity by 2030 and net-zero emissions by 2070.
