ILiAD Technologies has launched a pilot unit for its Direct Lithium Extraction (DLE) technology at Rio Tinto's Sal de Vida site in Argentina, aimed at demonstrating the technology's long-term performance with local brines. This initiative follows a strategic partnership formed in 2023, highlighting the increasing demand for efficient lithium extraction methods to support the electric vehicle and energy storage markets. ILiAD has also established a local presence to facilitate large-scale deployment in the region.
