India Targets Indigenous Solar Cell Manufacturing by 2028, Aims for Complete Solar Value Chain

The minister highlighted the progress of key schemes like PM Surya Ghar and PM Kusum, which have benefited millions of households. He emphasized the importance of timely execution and collaboration among stakeholders to achieve renewable energy goals, including a target of 500 GW of non-fossil capacity by 2030.
