India is advancing its energy transition with a goal of 500 GW of non-fossil capacity by 2030, emphasizing Energy Storage Systems (ESS). Industrial leaders like Gautam Adani and Reliance are spearheading major projects, including a 1,126 MW BESS initiative in Gujarat and a Green Energy Giga Complex in Jamnagar, respectively. Collectively, these initiatives will contribute nearly 5 GWh of storage to the grid this year, highlighting a significant push toward sustainable energy solutions.
