indie Semiconductor has partnered with Mahindra & Mahindra Limited to provide in-cabin driver and occupant monitoring systems for Mahindra's Electric Origin SUVs, XEV 9e and BE 6. The integration includes indie's CABIN EYE perception software, developed by emotion3D, with Mahindra's EyeDentity hardware.

Mahindra's electric SUVs have achieved a 5-star safety rating from Bharat-NCAP and will utilize the monitoring systems to enhance safety features such as detecting driver drowsiness and occupant presence. The partnership aims to continuously update these systems via over-the-air capabilities.
