Indonesia Launches Green Hydrogen Pilot Project to Strengthen Clean Energy Supply Chain
HYDROGENGEOTHERMAL
The Indonesian government, through PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy, has launched a pilot project for green hydrogen in Ulubelu, Lampung. The facility aims to produce up to 100 kilograms of green hydrogen daily with an efficiency of 82-88%, utilizing modern anion exchange membrane electrolysis technology. This initiative is intended to bolster Indonesia's position in the global clean energy supply chain and contribute to the national target of net zero emissions by 2060.
