The group Kpop4Planet, along with 12 fan clubs, initiated the 'Hana, Bring K-pop, Not Coal' campaign, citing the bank's loans to Harita Group for coal-fired power plants that support nickel production.

The campaign aims to hold Hana Bank accountable for contradicting its climate pledges. Fans are demanding an end to financing coal-dependent companies, highlighting the environmental impact on Obi Island and the failure to provide local electricity benefits.
