Innospace Signs Agreement for Orbital Launches from Portugal’s Azores by 2030

Innospace has secured an agreement to conduct orbital launches from the Malbusca region in the Azores, Portugal, marking the first such operation in the area. The inaugural flight of the Hanbit rocket is scheduled for 2026, while the Atlantic Spaceport Consortium, which received its construction license in August 2025, is also collaborating with Polish company SpaceForest for a suborbital flight of the Perun rocket. This initiative aims to bolster Portugal's presence in the global space sector.
