Insoil Achieves Global Verification for Carbon Farming Program, Poised for Market Expansion

Insoil, a Lithuanian climate finance company, has received verification from SCS Global for its carbon farming program, confirming compliance with the Verified Carbon Standard (VCS) and the VM0042 methodology. The program has successfully removed 154,915 tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions through regenerative agricultural practices.
With over 700,000 hectares enrolled, Insoil is on track to issue over four million verified carbon credits by 2027. As the carbon credit market evolves, the company anticipates increased trust and demand, particularly with upcoming EU guidelines aimed at standardizing certification processes.
