Teesside University's Net Zero Industry Innovation Centre, in partnership with the University of Western Australia and the Centre of Decommissioning Australia, has signed a memorandum of understanding to create a joint hub aimed at accelerating the transition to net zero emissions. This initiative focuses on industrial emissions reduction, circular economy practices, and knowledge exchange, particularly in heavy industries. The collaboration is set to leverage cutting-edge research in hydrogen, carbon capture, and smart energy, while fostering local manufacturing capabilities and creating skilled jobs.
