Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Chairman B.R. Naidu announced that the IOCL biogas plant in Tirumala is set for completion by March 2026 and operational by May 2026. The plant will have a capacity of 40 tonnes of biogas per day and is expected to save TTD approximately ₹1.52 crore annually while addressing waste management issues.
