Iran's NDF Allocates $1 Billion for Strategic Projects in Makran Region

Iran's National Development Fund has allocated $1 billion to strategic projects in the Makran region, focusing on infrastructure and production in Sistan-Baluchestan province. Eleven projects have received $1.25 billion in financing, including a methanol production unit and expansion of Shahid Beheshti Port.
The methanol plant, designed to produce 1.65 million tons annually, is 64% complete and expected to be operational in 18 months. Additional projects include a power plant and desalination unit to support local needs.
