Ireland Launches First ESA Phi-Lab in Mullingar to Support Space Technology Development

Ireland's first European Space Agency Phi-Lab has been launched at Irish Manufacturing Research in Mullingar, Co Westmeath. This six-year program aims to enhance innovation in space technologies and will be run in collaboration with the AMBER Centre at Trinity College Dublin.
The initiative is part of a €170 million government investment in ESA over the next five years, expected to create high-value jobs and improve Ireland's position in the global space economy. MBRYONICS and Ubotica Technologies were announced as the first supported companies.
