Irish Mainport Group has launched the Geo Master, a 41.5m DP2 hybrid survey vessel designed for high-resolution geophysical and geotechnical surveys in the offshore wind sector. Weighing 498 tons, the vessel will enter service by March under a long-term charter with N-Sea Group and is engineered for fuel efficiency, capable of running on biofuel. The Geo Master will accommodate a crew of 7 and 19 additional personnel, and will be Dutch-flagged under N-Sea's management.
