Italian startup RAPCO2 has introduced a patented technology for indoor CO2 capture and conversion into green chemicals and e-fuels, utilizing microorganisms and green hydrogen. This innovative process, known as Carbon Capture and Fixation (CCF), aims to enhance air quality in residential and commercial spaces while regenerating the capture material without energy consumption. Prototypes of their systems, BlueLeaf for small businesses and Jungle for larger enterprises, are expected to be operational by 2026, with plans for commercial rollout soon after.
