Japanese FDI in India Surpasses ₹2.7 Lakh Crore with 1,400 Companies Operating

Japanese foreign direct investment (FDI) in India has exceeded ₹2.7 lakh crore, with around 1,400 firms active in the country. The Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) highlights the growing economic partnership, emphasizing collaboration in technology sectors such as artificial intelligence and semiconductors.
Over the past seven years, Japan has trained approximately 24,000 young Indians through manufacturing programs. Significant agreements were signed during Prime Minister Modi's visit to Japan, aiming to enhance bilateral collaboration across various industries.
