Jiangsu Achieves Highest Offshore Wind Capacity in China with 13.49 MW
WIND ENERGY
Jiangsu has achieved the highest offshore wind power capacity in China, reaching 13.49 million kilowatts by the end of 2025, which will provide over 30 billion kilowatt-hours of renewable electricity annually and reduce CO2 emissions by more than 22 million tonnes. The province has established a robust offshore wind power framework, including the largest industrial cluster in Yancheng and the commissioning of advanced booster stations and grid-connection facilities. China's total offshore wind power capacity is projected to exceed 100 million kilowatts by the end of the 15th Five-Year Plan period.
