Jindal Steel Duqm has reaffirmed its partnership with Danieli by placing an order for a second hydrogen-ready direct reduction plant in Duqm, Oman. This facility will utilize advanced zero reformer Energiron technology to produce 2.5 million tons per year of direct reduced iron. The project, designed with energy efficiency in mind, will incorporate a pneumatic transport system and will capitalize on Oman’s natural gas and renewable energy resources, contributing to a larger green steel complex.
