Jinju City will implement a vehicle emissions reduction project in 2026, investing 3.119 billion won this year. The funding will support early scrapping of 1,085 vehicles, installation of emission reduction devices, and engine replacements for construction equipment.

Specific measures include increasing subsidies for Class 4 vehicles and providing support for electric, hydrogen, and hybrid vehicle purchases. The city will also fund LPG conversions for two school buses.
