HYDROGEN
A team of techies from Karnataka plans to hoist the national flag using a hydrogen balloon on the 77th Republic Day, aiming to reach an altitude of 100,000 feet. The flag will unfurl automatically at 80,000 feet through a mechanism developed with Nichrome wire, while the ascent and descent will be monitored with electronics and captured on camera. After reaching the peak, the balloon will burst, allowing the payload to descend safely with a parachute.
