The Kaul Festival in Mukah will proceed as planned despite the discovery of methane gas at the nearby Oya site, according to Sarawak Minister Dato Sri Fatimah Abdullah. While soil tests at Oya revealed methane at one of three locations, the Mukah site remains unaffected, and safety measures are in place with ongoing monitoring by Hazmat teams.
