Kaynes Semiconductor Expands Sanand Chip Plant with Mass Production Unit by Q3 2026

Kaynes Semiconductor is expanding its Sanand chip plant in India, with a mass production unit expected by Q3 2026 and full plant completion by 2028. The facility will operate in three phases, with Unit 2 ready for mass manufacturing in September 2026 and Unit 3 planned for late 2027 to 2028. The initial chip production via an OSAT unit is targeted for January 2026, increasing from the current capacity of 300,000 chips monthly to 9.2 crore chips per month, backed by an investment of Rs 3,307 crore.
