KBR has received a contract from IGNIS to provide technology and engineering services for a green ammonia facility in A Coruña, Spain. The plant will produce 200,000 tons of green ammonia annually using renewable energy for green hydrogen production.

This facility aims to support renewable fertilizer production and serve as a clean fuel and energy storage medium. KBR has extensive experience in the ammonia market, having licensed or constructed over 260 ammonia plants globally since 1943.
