Kentucky Announces $142 Million Agricultural Waste-to-Energy Facility in Carlisle County

Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear revealed plans for a $142 million agricultural waste-to-energy facility by Green Energy Parks in Carlisle County. The plant will convert agricultural byproducts into natural gas and liquid CO₂, employing 20 people.
It aims to produce 1.47 million BTUs of renewable natural gas annually and process 575 tons of feedstock daily. The project is eligible for up to $900,000 in tax incentives based on job creation.
