Keppel Sakra Cogeneration Plant in Singapore to Begin Operations in H1 2026

HYDROGENNATURAL GAS

The Keppel Sakra Cogeneration Plant in Singapore, a 600MW combined-cycle gas turbine facility with an investment of approximately S$750 million, is set to begin operations in the first half of 2026. Developed by Keppel Sakra Cogen and Keppel Energy, the plant aims to significantly reduce CO₂ emissions and will initially operate on natural gas while being capable of using 30% hydrogen. A power purchase agreement with GlobalFoundries will secure 25% of the plant's output.
