Kezo Zurich Oberland has selected Catacarb's hot potassium carbonate (HPC) technology to develop a pilot carbon capture unit at its waste-to-energy plant in Hinwil, Switzerland. In collaboration with Sulzer, this initiative aims to achieve 90% CO2 capture efficiency while reducing energy demand compared to traditional amine-based methods.

The pilot will gather operational data to inform Kezo's commercial deployment and broader decision-making in carbon capture management within the waste-to-energy sector. Catacarb's technology is adaptable across various industries emitting flue gases.
