Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology has achieved ISO 14001:2015 certification for its Solid Waste Management facility, which was established under a 10-year BOOT model. The facility, operational since January 2021, has processed over 10.89 lakh kg of food waste and includes a biogas plant, significantly reducing landfill contributions. The institute also prioritizes staff training in waste segregation and hygiene to ensure ongoing compliance and sustainability.
